Current Work:

Photography/Video production (2001 to present day):
- Freelance photography work including editorial, corporate and documentary work.
Clients have included: Millennium point, Eastside, Hammersons, Carlton TV, Birmingham Alliance, Birmingham Central Library and Council, Birmingham Post, Sheffield Star, British Trust for Conservation Volunteers, The Centre for Alternative Technology, DPICT magazine, Renn and Thacker and Birmingham Royal Ballet.

- Also Video projection/ conferencing and editing work with The Random Dance Company (resident dance company at Saddler’s Wells theatre).

- I have also recently documented ‘Shadow Games’, an art-based project that involved projecting DV on to the side of the National Indoor Arena. This was to mark the opening of the International Athletics.

3D animation (2001 to present day):

- Animation and model-making using Lightwave 3D at Carlton Television, Birmingham. Animations are used for regional programmes and News, Network Children’s ITV and ITV sport. Also regional adverts and network sponsorship graphics.

- I have also been involved in ‘beta’ testing Apple Mac OsX within the Graphics department.

Previous employment (1998-2001):

- Camera and Motion-control operation in the Design department of Carlton Television, Birmingham. Mark Roberts ‘Flair’ Motion-control software was used to shoot stop-frame animations, actors, objects, photographs, and textures. The work was mainly for ITV regional programming, although BBC and independent work was done, including regional advertisements and sponsorship jobs. The majority of the graphics were created for Children's ITV, News, drama promotions, and ITV. This often involved Chromakey/blue-screen work.

Post Education:

Various technical and P.A work/experience throughout 1997 with several companies including: ‘The Academy of Live Arts and Radio’, Wandsworth, ‘Patrick Wallis Productions’ Central London, ‘Oxford Scientific Films’ and ‘SSVC’, Gerrards Cross.

Education:

1995-1996 BA (HONS) degree in Documentary Video Production, Humberside University.

1993-1994 HND Design (Documentary photography option), Stockport College.

1992-1993 City and Guilds 7470 Photographic Competances. Stafford College of Art and Design.
