About
Trained in documentary photography and filmmaking I received a prize in the Guardian's David Hodge Award for young photographers in 1993. My interest lies in social documentary photography and my various projects have led to exhibitions and national press coverage, notably 'Bullring' and 'Littleton'. I have also worked in broadcast television design and collaborated with international artists and choreographers on large scale projections at venues such as the Opéra de Paris, Durham Cathedral, Staatstheater Stuttgart and London's Royal Opera house.
Based in the Midlands my clients have included Birmingham City Council, The Random Dance company, Opéra de Paris, The Paul Mellon Centre (Yale university), The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, Urban Splash and ITV television.
In recent years I have been commissioned by leading midlands museums and art galleries to document their 3D and 2D collections, including Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Wolverhampton Art Gallery and The Barber Institute.
